Careerpilot is a new website aimed at 14 to 18 year olds in the South West, to help them plan for their future work and study. The website helps educate teenagers about the numerous ways to extend learning beyond school - and not just through the traditional route of a full-time university course.

Careerpilot is the 'sister website' of Lifepilot, which focuses on helping adults back into higher education (also developed here at Float). As such, much of the functionality that exists in Lifepilot such has been repurposed for this younger target audience.

The new website includes profile building tools to help young people record their skills, experiences and achievements. They can then use this information to help when applying for jobs or courses.

The website contains a comprehensive and fully searchable directory of all training and education profiders in the South West. Users can browse the map to find relevant institutions then click through to detailed information about that Provider - which is maintained by the Provider.

And of course, the website contains an extensive information resource written specifically for young people for this stage in their lives.

The website is developed on our Artisan Content Management System, giving the client full control over all content.
